SNM Group, founded by Mr. Satya Narayan Maheshwari, began as a wholesale trading firm in Kolkata, specializing in cattle feed, oil seeds, food grains, and pulses. In 1995, we expanded our horizons by establishing a rice industry in Balasore, Odisha. Today, SNM Group is proud to operate two extensive food processing complexes in Balasore, covering a wide range of processing and production capabilities. These facilities enable us to meet the diverse demands of our customers and consumers efficiently.
As one of the largest agro-based and allied product manufacturers in Odisha, we boast an impressive annual production capacity of over 180,000 metric tonnes. Our extensive product range includes varieties of parboiled and raw rice, puffed rice, various oils such as mahua expeller oil, refined rice bran oil, sesame oil, double-filtered groundnut oil, kachi ghani mustard oil, as well as idli rawa, rice flour, rice grit , de-oiled Rice Bran and de-oiled cakes. We provide our products in both bulk and consumer packaging, ensuring widespread availability across the country.
Our commitment to growth and innovation is unwavering. We are planning to install a 5-megawatt power plant and a state-of-the-art food packaging unit by 2035. Additionally, we are exploring the entry into food grain packaging to further diversify our product offerings. Situated on 25 acres of land at two national highway sites, strategically located between Bhubaneswar and Kolkata, our facilities are primed for optimal production and distribution.
Looking ahead, we aim to expand our physical refinery from 50 TPD to 150 TPD and transition our entire plant to solar power. We are also excited to soon launch ready-to-eat idli and dosa batter, further enhancing our product portfolio.
